we all scream.

instead of waking up at the butt crack of dawn to stampede with cheap people, we filled our fat faces with ice cream at klavon's ice cream parlor. which is just as american.

klavon's is a fabulous 1920s soda fountain in the strip district of pittsburgh. the scrumptious sundaes, sodas, and phosphates are reason enough to hightail it dahn ere:

but they also have a great selection of penny candy:

despite not filling prescriptions anymore, vintage drugs are all over the place.

so when yinz have finished your primanti's, head dahn to klavon's and order a pecan ball (half hot fudge, half caramel). don't be a jag off- it's better than getting trampled for holiday bargains.
