Zama

Tulum, Mexico was known as "Zama" by the Mayans, which means "city of dawn"- and a more appropriate name, there is not. It usually began with a neon orange ball of fire (gotta love natural fluorescence) that evolved into a bright yellow/white blinding light. Completely different everyday, but alway insanely dramatic.
The plan was not to wake up early on vacation, but after seeing one sunrise, there was no way to sleep through the rest. Hard to look at these photos and not visualize a demotivational phrase at the bottom. Something along the lines of "Believe in yourself, because the rest of us think you're an idiot".
