little cabin in big sur

as close to roughing it as i'll ever get.

camping has never been enticing, but i love me a cabin in the woods. with a bathroom. that has heated floors. and a cute kitchen unit stocked with wine and smores fixins.

this cozy little number from glen oaks big sur was fantastic for an overnight break in driving up the coast. of course the best part was the private fire pit. it saw plenty of use, and the smoke lingered on our clothes for the whole day afterwards- a constant reminder that we should've stayed longer.

sadly, we were only in big sur for about 20hrs- it was not long enough at all. fortunately, a big sur bakery breakfast softened the dissappointment of having to leave.
