log cabin quilt: block 2 AGAIN

one more time.

this block was originally made way back in january. it was before i had developed the method of backing the silk stripes, and the results were lacking. it had to be redone.

• red silk satin
• gold/ blue silk stripe (the problem child)
• mustard velvet
• cobalt silk satin
• navy velvet

never thought i'd see the day when all the blocks were finished. this will be my #1 priority when i return from california. the hardest part is still yet to come, but let's focus on the positive- here's a quick peak at the layout:
