needlepoint iphone case

i guess this was bound to happen.

i wanted this cross stitch iphone case long before i got the phone. it's pretty obvious that we were meant to be together. deciding what to put on it was difficult, until rediscovering my old love for anni albers. luckily, there was some pearl cotton floss left over from the 15' wrapped necklace, which worked out great. cross stitching left too much of the ground showing, so i opted to use diagonal needlepoint stitches instead.

not going to lie- this took forever. i must've ripped it out 10 times, and was close to throwing it across the room more than once. even now, there's a chance i'll rip it all out in a few months to try something new. but just knowing that's an option, makes me love it even more!
