Punkin Carving!

It didn't start out as a pumpkin carving day- it started as a laundry day. The hardware store across from the laundromat had some fine looking specimens and the weather was perfect, so we grabbed a few and celebrated getting the housework done early. by stabbing and gutting a bunch of gourds.

no fancy tools necessary- just a crappy "safety carving knife", a spoon, and a sharpie. i'm not a freestyle carver, so the sharpie is key- red takes less effort to remove later.

a little comet and a wet paper towel gets most of the red marker off.
