the thrilling conclusion of this crewel pattern, was too much for me to handle. i jumped around with the stitches and forgot to take photos, so there are some discrepancies in the timeline below. it was very enjoyable, and my only regret is that there weren't more birds in the pattern.

and in the end, i was so stoked to get this out of the hoop that i forgot to stem stitch his little leg and feet. no worries- it worked just fine without the hoop. he's just as handsome as expected.
