log cabin quilt: block 24

this block was intended to be on the normal side, as a palette cleanser between the last crazy one, and the final crazy one. but i was bored with the 2 neutral shades before i even began. the lime green satin was already cut and begging to be used. initial concerns that it would turn out very "jack nicholson joker" with the red, green and purple, were unfounded. the blue stripe tones down the villainous color selection.

glad i went with my gut. it's a more interesting composition now. only one more left!
