log cabin quilt: block 4

4 down, 12 to go. 1/4 of the blocks are finished!
unlike the previous 2 squares, none of the materials for this block needed to be reinforced. or so i thought. a little stabilization for the jersey knit, and the satin would've been an improvement. hindsight!
- red silk satin
- black/cream stripe in heavy cotton jersey
- black velvet
- lt blue satin
- white corduroy
this is shaping up to be a very intense project. not just from a construction standpoint, but from a visual one. i'm already dying to see it finished. hopefully, that alone will be enough for me to see it through to completion!
