log cabin quilt: block 6

6 down, 10 to go. really trying to make it happen.

for this block, i needed to reinforce the polka dot print. i went with the fusible pellon from the previous block, which worked well, but showed a bit from the front. not enough to make me lose any sleep, though.

• red silk satin
• aqua/olive polka dot silk
• mustard tropical wool
• lemon linen
• dark teal boucle

i think this one is going to be a real standout on the quilt! initial concerns about a juvenile color scheme have subsided, and now i see a pretty groovy block.
