like the many before it, this block had a stripe that needed backing. i used the fusible pellon technique from block 5 and it worked like a charm.
- red silk satin
- yellow/purple/violet silk stripe
- lavender silk twill
- olive duchess satin
- chocolate wool
although this is taking damn near forever, i love finishing each block and laying them out together. concern is creeping in that 16 blocks is not going to be long enough. i think it might end up being more like 20, but let's worry about that another time.
