those crazy rockefellers and their new fangled art.

made a quick stop in tarrytown on our way back from the blaze, to tour the rockefeller estate kykuit.

the estate is impressive- in the same way that all rich estates are impressive (i love a good butler pantry and dumb waiter). amazing building, amazing view, amazingly expensive everything. what makes this one stand out, is the amount of modern art scattered throughout the property. picasso here, noguchi there, a calder on the hill, just to name a few...
