Vintage Crewel Kit: Squirrel 7

It's been a long, stubborn road of disregarding directions. In some cases, breaking the rules has worked out. Other times, not so much. There was a bit of both this time around. The long and short stitch was once again the culprit.

The cream felt good. It was a small area to fill in and everything went smoothly.

Likewise, the grey was hassle free.

Even his chunky drumstick looked filled in evenly. But his fat little arm has the same affliction as the tail- the line where the stitches meet. It's like sloppy coloring. Of course it doesn't trouble me enough to rip it out and stitch it again. Not even close.
