2012 roundup: field trips

you gotta get up to get down.

while it's true that the internet can provide endless inspiration, prying your eyes from the monitor and getting your butt out of the house is much more fun. museums, movies, mansions, lots of fresh air, plenty of vitamin D, and a trip to california were all on the agenda for 2012. although it seems like a lot, i was making up for lost time.
